As a new mage, she doesn't have a clear understanding of boundaries and where things fit. Anything that isn't "a default kind of thing" is magic, but where does that refinement really start? There is some sort of expertise gradient. maybe. Like, if someone spends a lifetime mastering the art of pencils?
