Jackson West is well dressed middle-aged man, recently returned to Pokoh's Peak. He's usually seen in the background of the socially elite. Most often he’s a reserved and unassuming man, however, it is evident in his silence that he is a man of consequence.

| Plot Hooks

- Pokoh's Peak (1976-1994) - Jack was born here, but he ran off to join the Army as soon as his age permitted. Call it wanderlust if you like. He’s had an interesting life, which has led him home again. It’s possible he has family in the area.
- United States Army, 75th Ranger Regiment (1994-1998) - Jack served his country in Djibouti and Bosnia. Among the decorations accumulated during his service were the Distinguished Service Cross the Silver Star, and the Purple Heart. He was medical discharge with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer.
- University of Colorado (1998-2001) - Jack earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Colorado.
- United States Secret Service (2001-2013) - Jack started working in counterfeiting, but quickly moved to the protective details. He’s been stationed in Washington, D.C., Miami Florida, and Columbus Ohio. From 2012 through 2013 Jack was the Special Agent in Charge of the Speaker of the House’s security detail.
