Cast:

Jim comes by in the morning, which means the donuts are FRESHEST when they're brought on back. Jim is pecking at one, while reading the screen of the Sandra data banks.

Charles makes his way into the back of the center, lifts a hand in silent greeting, drops his bag next to a chair, and picks up a donut. "Morning. Hope that your day is going well, Mr. Jim."

Jim flaps, lifting his beak and looking back. "Howdy. Just the man I wanted to see. I reckon I have good news for our plans." He then hops to the other arm of the chair. He lifts a rock tied to a string, holding it in his beak by the string... and the rock rotates, pointing to Charles.

Charles blinks, then grins widely. "Questing Stone. Wonderful. Who did you learn it from?"

Jim flaps. "I convinced Miss Hina to teach it to me. And now I can teach it to you." He drops the rock back onto the chair, and bobs his head. "And now I can teach you, so I reckon we can begin our proper plans for miss Kaminari."

"Good, good," Charles says, before taking a bite out of his donut, chewing a swallowing before continuing. "The Warper, Maya, also believes that she can use... whatever it is that Warpers do exactly, to track Shaw as well. I think it woud be prudent to use her as a backup and she if her divinations give her the same location."

Jim tenses momentarily, and lets out a caw. "I reckon you'd better bemighty careful how you talk about miss Maya here. Miss Sandra has forbidden her being involved in Garou things, on account ofMaya saying the wrong thing to an untrusted Mage. I still trust her, but Garou secrets aren't mine to control."

Charles shrugs and leans forward a bit, as he munches on his donut. "Only a fool doesn't make use of any advantage and the fact that Shaw exists is no secret. I don't see the harm in asking her to pinpoint his location, after we do the same. If we come up with teh same location, the chances that are efforts are being subverted are less. I'd hate to go through all sorts of effort, only to find that he has something in place to mess with Questing Stone. That could end very badly."

Jim flaps, and trills. "I agree. Let's just be careful. I teach you the Rite, we get information from miss Maya, then we go to miss Kaminari and do it."

Charles lifts up a finger. "We'd have to do Questing Stone and have Maya do her thing about the same time. Otherwise, the test is useless if he is moving."

Jim flaps again. "Then we arrange that independently. Then again, miss Kaminari may not mind. We can run it by her, if she's willing to defy miss Sandra and bring Maya into it."

Charles wrinkles up his nose. "I don't see it as defying the Alpha. She doesn't want Sandra involved in anything that would make her privy to our secrets, correct? Asking her to locate one individual, once, and nothing more. We don't even have to specify what we plan to do with the information. I have noticed that this city is crawling with Warpers, which is a little disconcerting."

Jim flaps. "She ain't he alpha anymore. Xavier is. WE could run it by him if you reckon we should. Or we can talk to Kaminari. I think she's cold blooded enough not to give a damn."

Charles mmms and leans back in his seat. "What is is Tribe, Rank, and Auspice?"

Jim flaps, and rolls his head to the side. "That all I couldn't tell you off the top of my head, sir. But I can show you where his office is in the city."

Charles nods. "That'd be good. I really should introduce myself properly. The way everyone was talking, Sandra was the Alpha, but she skipped town. I was, admittedly, surprised that there was no talk of someone stepping in to fill the gap."

Jim flaps. "Miss Sera was the alpha of this group. Then miss Sandra succeeded her. Then the new leaders came into town, and they outranked her, so they took over. All that was before the Belle Isle incident."

Charles nods, taking in this information and falling silent for a short time. "Alright. It's good to have a better idea of what's going on. You give me Xavier's information. You said it was and office?" Charles asks, nose wrinkling up. "I'll have to clean up some, I suppose."

Jim flaps. "He's a high powered lawyer. I reckon you'd at least better put on a collared shirt. A tie wouldn't hurt. If he's your boss."

Charles actually looks distressed at this, jaw dropping open a litter. "And where the hell am I going to find a get up like that?"

Jim looks Charles over. Trills low. "What if you found a gift card for a place to pick up a shirt and slacks?"

Charles snorts softly. "I'm not walking into a store. I'd be kicked out before I even tried to buy anything. They'd think I was there to steal shit."

Jim would rest his face in his hand, but he doesn't have a hand, so he lifts a wing and rubs his beak instead. "Alright, Charles. Do you know what sizes you wear?"

Charles shakes his head no. "I just manage with what I can find. THere is that clothing exchange place, so I've been going there when I start to smell bad enough."

Jim inhales. "What if you got a cheap gym membership somewhere, at least to shower?"

Charles makes a face, then sighs. "I'll manage something."

Jim flaps. "Let me know if I can help. I told miss Kaminari that I would help. This is part of that promise."

Charles nods and absently scratches at his scalp. "Well, we can start by working on that Rite. How do you go about it?"

Jim will then go in to explaining the rite. Having been just taught by a Garou, he's able to translate back and forth between how a Garou might do it, and how a Corax will do it, with little trouble. He even fetches the rock on a string to explain.
